What is it?

The ARP™ Snow Camera Pro kit is the ultimate piece of filming equipment for snow sports. The main system consists of just 2 parts, a miniature super light weight head camera (just 40g) and a state of the art DVR (digital video recorder) that can produce DVD quality footage.

How does it work ?

Simply plug the lead from the camera into the DVR, slide the ski cam into place and press record. Then its up to you for a little while to do something mildly entertaining for your new head camera to film. Once the action is over you can watch snowboard or skiing footage back there and then on the mini DVRs built in screen.

Once home (or back to a laptop) you can download the files to your computer where you can then burn them onto DVD or upload them to YouTube or Facebook! You can also watch the videos back directly on your tv by using the TV cable supplied!

Camera Mount

Every person has there own preference on camera mounting so you have a choice of two options when purchasing:

a Head Strap to wear around your head or

a Goggle Mount which wraps around the strap on your goggles.

 

Audio Recording

An optimized microphone is supplied with the head camera which is ideal for recording audio like the sound of skis on snow.

 

MP3

Also included is a set of 4K Earphones. These will enable you to use your DVR as an MP3 player too, ideal if you are out for the day.

Why the ARP SNOW?

Compared to 'all in one' type cameras the ARP SNOW is much easier to wear given it's weight and size and is much more discrete too! You can also use the built in screen on the DVR to help align the camera before filming and of course after the run to watch the footage back instantly or share the thrills and spills over a coffee at lunch time!
